I was an original fan. I read the books in Jr. High, and when I went to high school every squeeling hormonal girl had one clenched in her pubescent hands.
When I read them in Jr. High I liked them because they made me think I could write something better. The fourth book was the best written, and as Stephen King so bluntly said; "Stephanie Meyer can't write worth a darn."
Original Marcus Fan. Until they made him ugly in the second movie.
I never want to see the movies.
Hearing about twilight makes my ears hurt.
It's sad when a word so beautiful becomes prey to squeeling fangirls and a book that was only mildly amusing.

The only amazing thing about Stephan king is his ego. Everything he ever wrote and got rejected as a young man, before the fame, is now being dusted off and pressed on the public. If you're very lucky then he'll throw some of his poetry in at the end. It's like he does it out of spite.
